Still hard at work on my Disney series...still focusing on the 'bad girls' and creating two a day since this since my last post; Wait....what's up with that asterisk on the 25, yo?
Okay, in Muse Land, that strange land filled with daily art, cats and sparkle...there are very strict 'rules' for creating said daily art. Who made up these rules? Muah. Who drives herself insane enforcing them? Yup. So here's the problem...sometimes LIFE happens...and that happened this week. A friend lost his brother...someone that we never had the honor to meet, but we knew it was important to show respect for such an amazing person passing...a fire fighter that was diagnosed with brain cancer and died within two weeks...survived by a stunning wife, and unborn child. If you have a minute, please read about this extraordinary life that had passed, http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/obituaries/article16199030.html One thing that I know from experience, life is short, family, friendship are important, and if I don't do anything else in this lifetime I will show and give love whenever I can. So Wednesday we headed down south for the wake. And I am glad we did. But we got back late, I had already talked myself into only completing one piece, the 'Noir' piece, since I made those Alice in Wonderland-themed pieces mid-February...after all, those were the whole inspiration for the series. Long story short, I made peace with just making the one piece and posting my 'Queen of Hearts' piece since I had already made it...but I guess my heart and hands weren't in sync...and I didn't like the 'Noir' piece that I started...so I ended up scrapping it and re-doing in on Thursday. And this kind of stuff doesn't matter to anyone but me, I suppose. But I wanted to document the discrepancy. And I wanted to post about Andy's brother, and share the story of his life, because it is important to do that.
