This series was inspired by neurographic art- with my own spin on it. I used liquid watercolors- love how vibrant the colors are! There are a few pieces done of some paper I had left from my alcohol ink series (I think I left my paper at school or something...can't remember why I switched) I was only going to do the one but I went ahead and did three on that same paper. Since it was that specialty paper I went back into the piece with some drops of rubbing alcohol. You can probably figure out which three pieces it was! -JLG

All inspired by vintage Dior. India ink on paper. Worked on some smaller, 4x6 handmade paper due to traveling to Colorado and California. -JLG
Think boujee shopping...tropical vibes...that's it. That's the series. Series includes watercolor, oil pastel in over have of the pieces and some painted magazine pages- some were cut into tropical leaves by hand, some with a Cricut machine (thanks, Jennifer for your help with that!) -JLG ...what can I say? I wanted to continue with the TRASHION- and I still had scraps in the box and I didn't want to waste them. I decided to work with shades of pink to unify the series. -JLG
...how 'bout some TRASHION in honor of Earth Day? Each piece made with scraps of this and that...I carried a little box of trash around with me all month and just tried to use that up. -JLG
I wasn't planning on doing this series, I mean...I had thought about dedicating a series to Iris Apfel but when she passed on March 1st that was my sign to do the series NOW. I worked from various photos of her throughout the years, starting with line sketches and them moving to more developed pieces. What an icon she was, and what an honor to create a month's work of daily art to my fairy glam-mother. -JLG
...still having health issues...another month of abstract pieces, this time I worked even smaller- using some old library cards...and adding some threads for fun. -JLG
Not my usual fashion illustration work. Health issues caused me to have to work differently for the month. So I refocused and committed to creating small mixed media works- with my non-dominant hand. -JLG
