 I have had a few local art contest opportunities come through my email and I wanted to let ya'll know about 'em! These are completely optional. Please read over the information carefully, and let me know if you will be working on any of these so I can make a note of it and follow up with you closer to the deadline. Also, you can receive 'sketch' credit(s) for these, make sure to check with me for more info. See me for paper...and art materials! PLEASE, JUST ASK :)

This week I gave out your first half of the sketch assignment selections...please read carefully! Remember, you can choose from the 10 prompts I have provided OR you can opt to create your own body of work based on a THEME. The work should look cohesive...not random! Remember that I will be adding various materials to the bookcases when you first enter throughout the year. Once I have demonstrated how to use the materials they are available for you to use on your pieces. If there is a sub and items are put away...well, just wait til I get back to use them.
