Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts summer art opportunity

Anita Holmes, the executive director at the Benzaiiten Center for Creative Arts (just a few blocks from school!) is offering free classes this summer through the 'Taste of Glass' program. Four students participated in this last summer and really enjoyed it. I will not be organizing this for you- if you are interested you will need to contact Mrs. Holmes either by email, phone or in person. This will be good 'adulting' practice for you :)

Identify yourself as a LWHS art student and as my student
Tell her you are interested in participating in the free glass classes
Have your planner or calendar on your phone available to schedule your class(es)
Ask her what you need to wear/bring for class (it's hot in there- they are melting glass!)
SHOW UP for up for you class(es)
Be polite, respectful and enthusiastic, you are representing the art program at L-Dub!

Though glass art is quite risky since glasses could be harmful, we should all learn how to be open on how to make glass arts! I am happy and delighted to know that Benzaiiten Center for Creative Arts is offering free summer class for glass art making for everyone. The idea really excites me knowing that I haven’t done it yet. There are so many forms of art that I want to try, and this one is included in my art! The samples that you posted are all great.
