I am so excited to finally have a face to face art event! I will be live painting at Port City Java on Front street this coming Friday from 6-9 (that is where my coffee painted fashion illustrations are on display). I never did any kind of opening with the pandemic and all, so this will kinda serve as a closing I guess...because I am pretty sure it's almost time to take the pieces down.
But first- some live art!
Had a great weekend with my SIL Maria at her friend's house on the intracoastal. We met up Saturday morning, got lunch, picked up snacks, found gas (there was a mini-gas freakout on the east coast, it was cray) and then...we worked on our National Board Renewals. But beyond that, we had a chance to renew ourselves with some rest, and renew our bond with late night talks and tons of laughs. It was just over 24 hours- but definitely time well spent!
...after my nap (if you know me then you KNOW) John and I took a ride over to the river and parked near where we will be living next year to do a test walk. The Riverwalk is right near our new place- it was almost 1.9 miles- ONE WAY! I can't wait to be able to walk that whenever I want- and go downtown!
...just a gal trying to get this art out of my soul to share with the world on a DAILY basis...no big deal...check out my ramblings!-JLG
