My Daily Art from September 9-19, 2015 Thank you to my Gallery 2014 family for making me feel welcome and a part of something special at my first real Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk! I had a great spot over by Heather's beautiful artwork....delivered a commission to fellow G14 artist, Olga...sold my Lady Shiva piece from my 'Gals of DC Comics' series (girl, bye!)...and just had great night! Looking forward to the next one! -JLG  ...backtracking a bit on the ol' blog...just some stuff I want to document...not gonna write a bunch...just a few captions and some purty pics from an amazing wedding weekend in Asheville, NC.       I had these plans of sitting down and writing a big ol' post about the current series...that I am already five pieces into... Then I got distracted making a crazy comic to try and explain it. And now I am about due for a nap...but I do want to say at least a few things. But first...here, check this out!  Just WHO is this INSPIRATION MAN? So there it is- the new series is inspired by comics. Specifically, DC comics- the LADIES of course. Things worth mentioning...I don't really know much about comics. Like...it's kind of a whole new world for me. I had NO IDEA the complexity of all the different story lines and relationships...and I will certainly have no shortage of characters, there are TONS of them. I am doing my best to educate myself as I go...I might make some mistakes, so die-hard comic folks please know that I am still learning. And I have more to say...but I really do want to nap, it's raining outside and Scooter loves to nap when its all dark and gloomy. (You know...so I gotta take a nap for him, not me...for Scooter) For now, here are the first few pieces...and as for Mr. Jason, I love and miss you and hope we can see each other again soon!
