I don’t have a space for a studio in the new place- but I did carve out a spot in the kitchen. I think this will work! It's a bit of a full-circle moment because when we first moved to Florida I had my studio set up in our kitchen- and that's when I really got focused on making art!
Artist Date with my artist and now art TEACHER friend, Nicole! She brought the donuts AND the cool project for use to work on. I put my paper wreath up in my classroom!
Me, first day of kindergarten…and me, first day of my 20th year of teaching! I still LOVE school! (what is wrong with me?!?!)
Well it’s official- I am at William T. Dwyer High School with my long time PBCATA friend, Kim Pilla! Whew! I have TONS of work to do in my new classroom. Went before our CA trip…AC was out. It was HOTTTTT. Went again after our trip- there were fumes coming through the vent from construction in another part of the building…long story short I got SUPER sick. But…I got it done. Presenting my ‘new’ classroom at William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida! Studio 5-104 Tour! FINALLY! Our first trip back to San Diego since this whole pandemic mess! I already miss it! Besides being reunited with our beloved boardwalk at Pacific Beach we also got to see our friends from back home, Ryan and Lauren…and their gang of little boys! Let’s just say there have been some BIG changes since we saw them a few years back!!
