...busy, busy, BUSY weekend! I managed to throw in some artistic happenings in the midst of all of the graduation festivities, it was tough but I pulled it off! Angels...I managed to #angeldrop just a few pieces when we went to Hollywood Beach with my father-in-law, Raffaele. He and John were walking ahead of me, not paying attention as I left angels here and there. On the walk back to the car he saw one, picked it up and exclaimed, 'this looks like something Jenny would make!' in his thick Italian accent. John and I just burst out laughing...cause I did make it! We explained to him about the angels and how I leave them for people to find. He started to put the angel back and then he said, 'no, I found it!' And he kept the angel paintings. Finders keepers! Decorative ladies...I have been working on the new pieces, so far so good. My third and fourth pieces in the series include references to the Catholic church, mainly the rosary...I was thinking about the paint class I taught at St. Juliana in West Palm Beach. I was contacted through a mutual friend about teaching this class so I drove up Sunday afternoon and worked with a small group on an image of the Madonna and Child for Mother's Day. They were a fun group!
