Daily Affirmations and Project Runway

Day 22 of my #AugustAffirmationsJLG series and I gotta just go ahead and say it...I'm channeling my inner Stuart Smalley...

Choosing my word each day has really brought me joy, just thinking about putting a positive word, or thought out into the world, paired with my good intentions...yep, enjoying this series.  In the past few days I have thought about the words self, truth, uplift and today's word- VIVACIOUS, shown below;

I am also really enjoying the looseness of the oil pastel and watercolor, and I even played around with a little bit of nail polish, just 'cause I am sucker for some sparkle.  I still have W, X, Y and Z to go...and then I will have a few days left to play around with since I will have completed one piece per letter of the alphabet.  I have some ideas of what to do, but I am not ready to decide for sure yet.

...oh yeah, Project Runway...

So Project Runway Season 16 is airing now...and...well...I just had to SKETCH!  The only thing that I love more than Project Runway is SKETCHING while I watch it!  (oh, and everyone knows I adore Tim Gunn, please adopt me, Tim!!)  The first episode was fun to watch, I was smitten by the winning look by Deyonte' AND by Kenya's white gown, so I drew'em both!  Here they are;

They are having a fan art contest this season, too so I am entered these two pieces and I am going to try to enter something each week...ya never know, maybe I would be lucky enough to go to the finale!  (...seriously...can...you...IMAGINE?!)
