Usually by this point on the summer John and I have been on at least 1-2 flights and or road trips...but this summer, not so much due to Covid.  We finally decided to travel at least in-state...to Key West!  Last time we went it was Christmas year before last so we were anxious to see how they were handling social distancing, etc down south.

Road trip!

It was a million degrees out, so thankfully we did were not required to wear masks outside as long as we could social distance- which we totally could because there were not as many tourists. It was a little surreal being able to walk down Duval and not have to dodge folks on the sidewalk, but we are glad we went- the local businesses were glad to see us!

I made sure to get up early so I could be at the pool before it got crowded. They took away chairs to make room in between folks, but I figured I wouldn't take my chances. So I had the place to myself- even John wasn't there, he was sleeping in!
