As in Old School Square.
After some spring cleaning, and ANOTHER Gironda 'tire issue' (insert big sigh) John and I headed down to Delray to deliver my painting for the PBCATA show at Old School Square. We figured we might as well make a day of it, so we walked around, had some lunch and some coffee. Aside from the car trouble, it was a good day.
Looking forward to the reception this Wednesday (April 11th from 5:30-7:00) Yes, a shameless plug!
I also finished up my CED #96 this evening. It reminded me of a piece I did in January, and then I looked through my March pieces and found a few more profile/person facing something views so I compiled them into one grouping of pictures (below). Kind of interesting to see that certain compositions or ideas will reappear in my work without me really making a conscious decision.
Tomorrow...or this weekend...or whenever it happens...I need to finish up Paul's commission, start some pieces for two shows at the Green Room in Fort Lauderdale, maybe make some funky cupcake paintings...and...wait, just gonna try to tackle these items...
