 Long story short, by NYE dress didn't arrive so I went with my backup. Only thing is I bought it at place in the mall and I wanted something custom...so...I picked up a piece of embellished fabric, grabbed my needle and thread and got to work!  (Left) original dress is plain silver sequinned fringe. (Right) I cut up a piece of gold embellished fabric, pulling out certain section and 'tacking' them into the dress with stitches- and I also added sleeves using almost a curtain style channel. I did my stitching in a way that I can easily take them off the dress and wear it later as just the original silver version.  Found the shoes for a STEAL a while back...but they looked a little frumpy. So I revamped them by taking out the sheer panels and adding some bling. (I HATE wearing heels, so that's why they are so short.)  (Left) ...just another pic of the finished dress- I love how it turned out!
