A while back, I made this little wedding dress...out of old issues of Art Hive Magazine....cut out into over a thousand little flower shapes and attached to an old petticoat and part of a recycled bridesmaid dress.
I was just making it for for fun, and because I wanted to participate in the Fashion ARTillery event at the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach.
So I worked on in, day and night. Cutting, gluing, attaching paper and bits of fabric to the understructure...then gluing gems and embellishments on top of that. It was one of the most time consuming projects I have ever undertaken to date.
And it was worth every minute.
Here is a timeline of 'the dress'.
