Quiet. Still. Calm.

Ed and his fiancé Sarah, went back to New Jersey today.

After a fun week hosting out of town friends, fourth of July festivities and general merrymaking...it is quiet here at casa de Gironda, except for the occasional meow from one of the cats.  

By the way...posting in purple in honor of Ed, a fellow ECU grad (Go Pirates!)

Visitors or not- I still made time for my art, and I am proud of that.  I just finished up CED #188, and now I guess I am deciding what to work on next....

Some things that I have been thinking about...

• ORGANIZATION...I would like to get organized for shows, etc, maybe create my own planner if I can't find exactly what I want. I feel like I am starting to get a little overwhelmed with which show is when, what work I need to make, deadlines...I need to just take a minute and get organized so I can't focus on creating work.
  
• MAIL ART...this is something I have been reading about, trying to plan my own 'correspondence art' project with my art friends. I think I am almost ready to contact everyone for the 'call for entries'...
  
• SPARKLE AND GLITTER MAYHEM...I have something that I have been working on...not sure when I will debut it...but just know that something sparkly this way comes...
• ETSY...I need to update my shop, promote it on Facebook...post the pic for my customer feedback
• SOCETY 6...several of my art friends are selling work through this site and I just created an account today, gonna start uploading images as early as tonight.
• PICTURES...ugh...I seriously need to organize the pictures on the laptop...out...of...control!
• PINTEREST...I love you, Pinterest...but I need to stay away from you for a little bit...or at least make one of the recipes that I have been posting (Maybe I should learn to cook and be domestic?) or an art pieces from my Inspiration board to justify the time I spend pinning!

...so that is just me, kind of creating my little list of what I need to do...not sure what I will start on first...
